used to like tomestone pizza (hubby STILL has a ratty old t-shirt we got from a promo)..but now its just toooo sweet..like some of the self rishing crust ones better (have no ideas about names any more since we started making our own pizzas)...just too expensive--can make one for less and have better ingredients --and flavor!
hubby had a dental appt today so he had a soup dinner...I had pasta with sea urchin roe sauce and salmon roe on top...yum! (hubby not a fan of sea urchin or salmon roe--so I take the time to eat that stuff when he cant)....think I was japanese in a former life (ok just a few years ago)
----edit......moved from other thread....

Digirino is pretty good. Though my favorite is Orv's but you can only get that up in the Chicago area. Guess it is kinda like Farmington chips (Kitchen Cooked) and Avanti's, you can only get those around here. Orv's is actually pretty cheap. Cheaper than Tombstone actually.
I had chicken and mashed potatoes. Pretty yummy.

Sigh - postponed knee replacement op yet again. Got a few compressed vertebrae that are pinching nerves, so that needs sorting first. On so many drugs that she's taking drugs to lessen the side effects of the others. Methotrexate causes nausea, so anti-nausea for that, steroids attack auto-immune, so something else for that.
The woman rattles.
I keep being reminded of Rahja and his House avatar - I always wanted to say, "sometimes it is lupus."
Apart from that, we're fine
(Oh, apart from the massively increased workload at my Tube station, thanks to those damn Olympics.)

(Teehehe moved to OTA as it was beginning to become part of the OTA thread.) :P Modding the mods, awwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Sorry to hear all that Snog. Wish I could offer advice to help but sadly I went biology teaching instead of biology premed...
I'll watch the Olympics, but I certainly won't die by them. If there is something else on that I would rather watch, I'll be watching that instead.

Hi Slayer. How's life?

Much better since pretty much retiring from forums. Much better off not dealing with that stress and those idiots. Still sitting as Admin of TGH2 but who knows how long we will keep it running.
As for GW2 and guilds and such. I dunno who would even want me to join, but we will see.

Glad to hear that. Lucky most of the (if not all) asshats are over on GW2Guru where I don't have to mod. Lots of stupid fanboi's who can't take it when someone criticizes their precious game. Glad I don't mod over there.
Don't think I will be picking up GW2. Unless it happens to go on Sale for like $40.00 again before release. Then maybe. But even still, idk.

I am not alone (sniff)...I have no desire to buy another game either...this one has taken many hours of my life--I am not planning on letting another game do that.
I, too, am glad I was not invited to mod over there as well--no place for a mean mod like me
yeah, our little corner is nice and quiet and most peeps behave here...kinda like it that way
had miso soup with tofu for dinner (hubby is still on no chewing after his dental visit)....

You could have moved Cosy's question too - now it looks like I'm attention-seeking
The RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO-up with the wrong flag during the women's soccer was amusing last night ^_^
(The expletive was "male chicken" - not a curse over here in that context )

Ya I thought about that too, but I wasn't sure how to move just half the post as the other half belonged in the mod section... All very confusing.
Ya you aren't alone at all cosy, just everyone else is too afraid to say it cause they know the fanboi's will jump down their throats.
I heard about that. South Korean flag displayed for North Korea. North Korea walks off the field. Shows how much those to sides still hate each other. Of course the person who was supposed to be checking that stuff is probably now fired. lol

Hey, don't knock Japan - they just beat Spain at soccer.
That's a bit like, er, Muhammed Ali being kayoed by Chicken Little?
...I'm struggling for appropriate analogies here.

not knocking japan--just what sports they showed (only ones they did well in)....all countries are biased like that...they will show more of sports that THEIR athletes are in than those that they may have no one in.---though now with cable you might get to watch others (especially if you can understand other languages!).
still no plans to watch--heck barely watch tv much anyways.

Ah, over here we show every sport - because we suck at them all equally.
What we DO excel in is sports that involve sitting down - cycling, rowing, equestrianism etc.

I would beg to differ that they are quite good at soccer. Though they have not been the greatest the past few years. But they will be getting better me thinks!
Ya Japan upsetting a Spanish team, I would be a lot more surprised if the Olympics soccer rules for men didn't make you field an under 23 team and only allow you 3 players over the age of 23. Makes things less impressive to me. Plus Spain was down a man.

Yeah, the under 23 rule is odd. Seeing a GB soccer team is odd too - we haven't had one of them since 1972.
A lot of Britain is rather annoyed that Beckham didn't get a place. One of the best and most influential players we've ever had. Can't be age either, as his old team mate Ryan Giggs was there.
